Astronomical Concepts

In this area we will present various concepts commonly found in the science of astronomy with particular application to AASTA's mission and its various facilities and resources.  While much of these materials are still under development, an example of these concepts is a recently completed examination of Cassegrain optics, which is the type of optics on which the 0.8-meter telescope is based.
